Isaka Shamsud-Din is an artist, educator, and activist who has been capturing the lives, histories, and cultures of African American and African diaspora peoples in his paintings, drawings, murals, teachings, and community projects for most of his 81 years.

Isaka Shamsud-Din is embarking on a new, long awaited series of artworks and is taking a 6 month sabbatical to launch this project and complete works in progress. In the interim, please direct all inquiries to Ishaq Shamsud-Din at: soccit2mypocket@gmail.com
